As I believe, today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students as lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever changing global society. “Shri Shankaracharya Vidyalaya, Hudco, Bhilai” is being run under the aegis of well established “Shri Gangajali Education Society” which has carved its own niche not only in the cities of Bhilai and Durg but across the central India as well. Ever since I have joined as the “Chief Operating Officer” in the institution I am striving to provide an environment to our students for a multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelise their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student centric atmosphere, which exists very much here.
The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics and extracurricular activities in the children, with a good training on responsible behaviour and a good citizenship. We teach children through our faculty, infrastructure and environment, to set goals, to gain confidence and determination, to make them able to examine their priorities, to set clean goals and make specific plans to achieve what they desire. We also believe in keeping ourselves in close contact with the parents. In a nut-shell we heartily wish to see the dreams of our children and parents converting into reality.
